The welded ball valve adopts an elastic sealing structure, which is reliable in sealing and easy to open and close. The valve stem adopts a bottom-mounted structure with an inverted seal, and the valve stem will not be rushed out when the valve cavity is abnormally increased in pressure. Ball valves are widely used in petroleum, chemical, urban water supply and drainage and other working conditions that require strict shut-off. Drive mode: manual, electric, pneumatic can be set with a 90° switch positioning mechanism, and lock as required to prevent misoperation. .
1. For the high pressure level A (1.6MPa), it is recommended to use cast steel valves. WCB grade is usually used to manufacture valves with pressure levels below 4 MPa.
2. For transmission and distribution pipelines with water pressure lower than Class B (0.2MPa), it is recommended to use gray cast iron valves. The advantage is that it is highly corrosion resistant and inexpensive, making it very suitable for underground pipelines.
3. For pressures lower than medium A (0.4MPa) or higher pressures than B (0.8MPa), we recommend the use of ductile iron or cast steel, with emphasis on ductile iron. Example: Comparing ductile iron QT400-18 and cast steel WCB, the mechanical properties of the former are not inferior to the latter, its corrosion resistance and casting process are better than those of cast steel, and the price is lower. About 70% of cast steel (usually cast steel)) Therefore, the overall performance and price of ductile iron valves are better than those of cast steel valves. Ductile iron valves can be used within the above pressure range. However, special attention must be paid to monitoring the quality of ductile iron materials.
It mainly means that there are operational requirements for sewage and grease injection, and the following guidelines need to be followed: When cleaning the pipeline, the sewage should be discharged as planned. Fully welded ball valve offers the advantage of a compact envelope, which allows for increased strength and significant reduction in weight. Furthermore, since the body is made by welding forged parts, there are fewer potential leak paths when compared to side-entry and top-entry ball valves.
